Tour #3: Woods, Water and History East Tour

A travel day that includes covered bridges, rural rides of great beauty, a visit to a beautiful remote PA woodlands park region, a very famous vista overlook at the end of a short woodlands side trip, a catered restaurant lunch or a lakeside picnic in a community rich with history and timberland lore. While in Eagles Mere, the local museum is a stop that exposes the rich history of the Victorian resort community. The riding level of this tour is the most rural CVMC Tours offers, as the terrain in Sullivan County is hilly and remote. The return to Wellsboro includes a motorcyclist’s delight with sweeping curved roads that have a rhythm and spirited pace. Another wonderful day in the woods of William Penn’s rich tree-laden wilderness where the landscape looks much as it did in the late 1800’s.
